Susumu Hirasawa
Composer of the 1997 anime soundtrack. Hirasawa has gone on to compose music for a number of Berserk adaptations.
Berserk: The Golden Age Arc (2012-2013)
This series of films was intended to be a re-adaptation of the 1997 series, split up over 3 feature-length movies:

Berserk (2016)
The most recent animated series was released in 2016 as a kind of sequel to the Golden Age Arc movies.
This version got its second season in 2017, although some consider it a separate series.
