Bad Brains is the self-titled debut studio album recorded by American hardcore punk\/reggae band Bad Brains. Recorded in 1981 and released on (then) cassette-only label ROIR on February 5, 1982, many fans refer to it as “The Yellow Tape” because of it’s yellow packaging. Though Bad Brains had recorded the 16 song Black Dots album in 1979 and the 5-song Omega Sessions EP in 1980, the ROIR cassette was the band’s first release of anything longer than a single. Pressed on transparent color vinyl, limited to 2, 000 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Power Play is the tenth studio album by the Canadian rock band April Wine, released in 1982 (see 1982 in music). Music videos were made for the singles “Enough Is Enough”, “If You See Kay”, and “Tell Me Why”. Power Play failed to meet the critical acclaim of the band’s previous album, but the single “Enough Is Enough” managed to reach #50 on the Billboard Hot 100, spending 8 weeks on the chart. The album itself peaked at #37 on Billboard’s 200 Album chart, remaining there for 20 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
